24 Weeks and Growing

This girl is growing!!! We gained 5 pounds in two weeks. One day the doctor is saying gain weight and the next time we had gained the same amount in the first 5 months. 15 pounds total now. Kinsley's heartbeat was 140 this week. Everything was perfectly normal and we go back in two weeks again. We have to do the glucose test next time;which I am not looking forward too. I remember 24 weeks when I was pregnant with Kailynn like yesterday. I thought that we would be doing this test at 26 weeks and Kailynn was born at 25. I am really anxious to get past the 25 weeks 2 days mark! I have faith that we are going to make it! They said that they would not do a C-Section until 38 1/2 weeks because C-Section babies tend not to breathe as easily as regular baby deliveries. Kinsley has been moving like crazy! This makes me feel so much better that before I could feel her move. We get to do another ultrasound at 26 weeks. YAY! I love to see pictures of baby Kinsley!!

The Things Kids Say

This is too funny! I just had to share it. Today a Kindergartener told his teacher that he can not wait to see what we are having for lunch because it must be real good. When she asked him why he thought that and he said that it was because Mrs. Hall really enjoyed her lunch today. It made her belly stick out real far. She explained that I was having a baby and the lunch did not do that to my belly. He wanted to know how the babygot there............She changed the subject.

22 Week Ultrasound

We got another ultrasound today to check my cervix (to take pictures of Kinsley). Emily was so sweet.....She knows to be prepared for my questions. Kinsley weighs 1 pound and 4 ounces already. Emily assured Kevan that it was still a Girl; the sex had not changed in the last 2 weeks. LOL! Kinsley moved the entire time. She covered her face; had one leg all the way over her head;sucked on her thumb for a while; and then yawned real big. That must have meant that she was tired and wanted us to stop staring at her. I can't believe how much she has grown in the past two weeks. Enjoy the pics!

22 Week Dr. Appointment

Wow!! Kinsley and I waited forever today! We saw two doctors; Dr. Matthews' who I love and Dr. Bailey. They are both so sweet. Kinsleys heatbeat was 148 and mine was 101 thanks to the new meds. We have gained a total of 10 pounds now. Both doctors understand that we are trying to make it to December before leaving school, but they said we will take it a step at a time. No Promises. Kinsley is sitting very low; not what they wanted to see. Good thing we have a cerclage or she might really try stick her foot out. I asked Dr. Bailey for another ultrasound around 24 weeks because the closer it gets to 25 weeks the more nervous I get. Well we are doing one on Monday for measurements. Then I have an appointment to get another Rogam shot. Mine that I got at 10 weeks has worn off already. And then off to see a ENT to see if we can get the nose bleeds under control. I really hope so! Dr. Matthews thought it was very funny that mom made me take a picture of my nose bleeds to show her. She said they were impressive. Anyway, Can't wait to see Miss Kinsley again on Monday!

Kinsley wants us to wait on her!

Last night after finishing all my errands I realized that I had been bleeding just a little. I paged Dr. Bailey 2 times but he never called me back. This morning his office said that he would be at the hospital all day to just go to labor and delivery to get checked out. Cerclage was in place, heartbeat was good, no infections, and Kinsley was moving around like crazy. All was good. Dr. Bailey ordered no trip to Mobile, take it easy, drink twice as much water, and a new medicine. I take it that Kinsley wants everyone to see her too. So I guess our trip will have to be postponed until after February!

Middle Name

Aunt Candice suggested Kinsley Makayla Hall. I love it and Kevan said he likes it too, but is not sold yet. We might possibly have a middle name!

Baby Girl!

Today was a great doctor's visit! I first went for an ultrasound. A student first wanted to practice on me.I did not mind....more time to look at this precious baby. She wouldn't tell me anything though. I kept asking is that the butt...oh it's a boy. She finally just went and got Emily (the normal ultrasound tech) She did all the measurements again and then it was time to find out the babies sex. So this baby crammed its butt into my side. She could not tell so she shook my belly forever until the baby moved, but only for a second. It was very clear that this baby is a girl. Then it was time for the doctor's visit and all my questions. I was supposed to see doctor Bailey today. Well Dr. Matthews who I have never saw or talked to came in. I loved her! She grilled Kevan and it was hilarious!!! The first thing she said was......Dad....How many weeks is she? He said 20...OMG he was right. Then she wanted to know when my due date was. He got it right too! Next question: What are two things that are very important about mom? Kevan answered: Placenta Previa and Cerclage! Great Job Dad!!!! Then she made him find the baby's heartbeat with the dopppler. He found it and read the beats per minute. What a visit. I hope I get her next time also! Well Kevan is a little disapointed for about two seconds...Then he says Little Girls Loves their daddies! He is excited too! This little girl already has a pretty pink nursery thanks to Nana K!
